I want you to have the best possible experience. To make sure we’re on the same page, I ask all my clients to read and follow these policies.
If something comes up or you have special circumstances, just let me know as soon as you can. I’m here to help, and I can’t wait to work with you!
CANCELLATION AND/OR NO-SHOW POLICY: Internal Locus Pelvic Health PT urges you to keep every appointment, as consistent treatment will expedite your recovery.
In the event you need to cancel an appointment, we require at least 24 hours notice. Patients who cancel without proper notice will be subject to a $100.00 charge for each occurrence.
All virtual visits happen through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a link in your confirmation email, and it’s your responsibility to join at that link.
Please sign on about five minutes early to troubleshoot any tech issues and make sure you get your full session time. If you’re late, we’ll work with whatever time is left, and the full session fee still applies.
Choose a spot with a strong internet connection and where you feel comfortable discussing personal details about your health. Let’s make this as seamless and supportive as possible!
Intake Forms
All intake forms are online. Please finish them at least 24 hours before your first visit—otherwise, we’ll have to cut into your treatment time for paperwork.
Guests
You’re totally welcome to have someone with you for support. If we’re meeting in the gym space, your guest will be in the treatment room with us (no separate waiting area, sorry!). Your partner or spouse may need to step out briefly during intake.
Fragrance-Free
Please arrive without strong fragrances (perfume, lotions, essential oils, smoke odors, etc.) to keep the space comfortable for everyone.
Speak Up
Communication is everything. If you feel uncomfortable, unwell, or even just distracted, let me know right away so we can adapt and make sure you get the most out of our session.
Respectful Conduct
Romantic or sexual requests, comments, or behavior are a no-go and will end the session immediately. You’ll still be responsible for the full fee in that situation.
Behavior
I reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or end a session if:
You show signs of intoxication (alcohol or other substances)
Safety concerns arise for you or me
Distractions prevent us from making progress
You or your guest aren’t following these policies
Thanks for understanding! These guidelines help us maintain a safe, focused space so we can really focus on your care.
Unfortunately, I’m not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time. Federal and state laws prohibit billing cash-pay for services that are covered under these programs. If you have questions about your situation or need help finding a Medicare/Medicaid provider, I’m happy to point you in the right direction. I’m sorry for any inconvenience, and I appreciate your understanding!
I follow all recommended COVID-19 protocols from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE). Since guidelines can change, please check CDPHE’s website for the most up-to-date information.
If you’d feel more comfortable wearing a mask or want me to wear one for any reason, I’m happy to accommodate. Telehealth sessions are also available if you prefer virtual care or live outside the Denver area. Thank you for helping keep our community safe!
